Our Beginnings

Evergreen Accounting Service was established in 1965 by Louise Palm. The business was built one client at a time, with the goal of delivering high-quality, reliable financial services to small business owners. To this day, new business is largely a result of referrals from our very satisfied customers. Ms. Palm served as president of the Independent Accountants Association of Illinois (IAAI) for two years and was also an active member of the National Society of Accountants (NSA). Evergreen Accounting Service, LLC has been newly formed in 2008, but remains in the family. We are dedicated to the same level of excellence that was a cornerstone of the business beginnings.

How we Operate

Our primary area of operation includes the south suburbs of Chicago. At Evergreen Accounting Service, we understand our clients' need to focus on running their businesses, leaving little or no time for recordkeeping and finances. Because of this, we provide a monthly pickup and delivery service of your financial records. You provide the records and we do the rest. At the end of the month, your accounts will be reconciled, your records in order, your tax payments ready for mailing and your financial position understood.
